My Room Too

The book contains 32 drawings on paper (2003-2009). It is a collection of drawings that, having no text and being no fairy tale, narrates the adventures of a curly haired girl. She makes a stand on the evils in the same way that her curls are proudly lifted against gravity. Sometimes completely miserable and others full of optimism, she passes her youth from bad to evil, with a few bright exceptions. The title of the book derives from the artist’s video My Room, presented at Deste Foundation in 2007 as part of the Part Time Punks exhibition.
