Sea Pastels

The artist transforms the seascape, through an aesthetic process, into a landscape. She records swimmers at the beach zooming her lens to its limit, obtaining a fuzzy image and transforming them into something close, that is however lost in resolution. She then stops the video where the image takes on the characteristics of a disintegration of forms, completely non-descriptive and totally abstract. The photographs that result in this way barely resemble the initial medium, the video.
